DAY 2 Our journey along the coast of the St. Lawrence lands us amidst a true Mecca of art and sculpture. See why St-Jean-Port-Joli is considered the wood carving capital. Le Gaspésiana, Sainte-Flavie, QC (B)
DAY 3 Learn about the Empress of Ireland sinking just off the shores of the St. Lawrence. Wander through the prestigious Matamajaw Salmon Club, and discover the rich history left behind. Riotel, Bonaventure, QC (B, L, D)

DAY 6 Travel counter-clockwise around the Gaspé Peninsula for the most dramatic coastal views so very close to the water. Conquer the 600-meter loop trail at Forillon National Park and say you walked to Land's End. All this talk about water and we can learn a thing or two about the St. Lawrence ecosystem at Exploramer. DAY 7 Take time to stop and smell the roses at Reford Gardens, a fine example of outstanding horticultural art. We’ve come full circle and begin our journey west along the mighty shores of the St. Lawrence River. DAY 8 The history of Trois Rivieres comes alive during our tour of Borealis, one of the only buildings still in existence that can bear witness to the birth of pulp and paper. DAY 9 With so many visitors having a keen interest to see and understand the inner workings of the Kingston Penitentiary, we’ll take a voluntary tour. Once released, we’re free to GO HOME with many great stories of our time along the Mighty St. Lawrence. (B)
