  • May 2025 National Tour Assn at the Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island, MI – was a panelist speaking to the sustainability piece of Designing & Marketing Meaningful Travel Experiences. This conference was for travel owners and decision makers from 37 US States, 13 Countries and 5 Canadian Provinces
  • May 2025 Attended IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism – ONTARIO: A Regional Event held in Waterloo. Many leaders in the tourism and sustainability sectors shared insight into how Ontario’s tourism industry can evolve toward a more sustainable future. Sustainability is no longer a “nice to have”—it’s essential for the long-term health and competitiveness of Ontario’s tourism sector.
  • Nov 2024 Attended Accent East Travel Conference in Traverse City MI - Kelly was a Key Note Speaker where she presented her Sustainable Journey to industry colleagues
  • Oct 2024 Fields Trips has become part of the Impact Network a Sustainable Waterloo Region (SWR) program that tracks and collects emissions data. This data will help attract events and visitors by enabling them to make informed decisions based on sustainability metrics. It will also support efforts to reduce emissions and highlight organizations committed to understanding their environmental impact and adopting sustainable practices.
  • Sept 2024 Fields Trips joined Sustainable Waterloo Region (SWR) and Explore Waterloo Region in a new collaboration aimed at promoting sustainability across tourism sectors, including business events, sport, group tours, and leisure, throughout Waterloo Region 
  • May 2024 Attended IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism – ONTARIO: A Regional Event in Scarborough – where GreenStep (the certification group) helps guide the dialogue around climate action, regenerative tourism, and innovation in the visitor economy
