Day 1  We make our way east and into the Eastern Townships of Quebec. Located in an enchanting environment the Domaine Château-Bromont offers a 4* hotel at the base of the mountain and is the perfect place to enjoy every moment. You will be impressed by the magnificent nature all around the Domaine Château-Bromont, but also by their warm welcome and attentive staff. Domaine Château-Bromont, Bromont, QC

Day 2  A local guide joins us to bring Louise Penny’s stories to life. A picturesque village on Lake Memphremagog is the inspiration for The Cruellest Month and the site of the ‘Old Hadley House’ featured in several books. Mr. Beliveau’s General Store will also be part of your discovery.  The inspiration for A Beautiful Mystery, the Saint-Gilbert-entre-les-Loups Monastery is a beautiful site, overlooking a grand lake, surrounded by gorgeous mountains and an apple orchard. Manoir Bellechasse, featured in The Murder Stone and where Armand and Reine-Marie go each year for their anniversary. Soak in the grandeur of this beautiful historical property while enjoying your included lunch. Return to the hotel to enjoy the surroundings for the remainder of the afternoon. (B,L)

Day 3  A local guide continues to bring Louise Penny’s stories to life. You will be immersed in the interesting history, beautiful architecture of Three Pines. Meet Lucy and Dany who are ready to welcome us with their big smiles (and shelves full of Louise’s books) at the Book Store made famous in How The Light Gets In. Lunch will be included in Knowlton, which is the heart of Three Pines and inspiration for ‘How The Light Gets In’ and ‘Still Life.’ Before finishing up the day, we’ll visit St-Thomas chapel and Sarah’s boulangerie, before retiring to our hotel. (B,L)

Day 4  We return home with a keen sense of knowing Canadian author Louise Penny. (B)
