One generation knows that 411 is the number to call Bell telephone if you are searching for a phone number, but to todays generation, 411 is informal for asking a friend for the details of what’s happening. Either way this tour speaks volumes about Alexander Graham Bell’s invention of the telephone 150 years ago.
We will set out on a PLEASANT drive, stopping at a ‘farm market’ for morning recess – which would be worthy of being a stop on a ‘Buttertart Trail’. Our next stop has been the TALK OF THE TOWN for quite awhile, 150 years in fact. We’ll visit the Bell Homestead to get the 411 on industry to innovation. It’s okay to have your elbows on the table – as lunch is comfort food with a FARM-FRESH TWIST, and the burgers don’t disappoint. They were featured on the Food Networks YOU GOTTA EAT HERE! Our scenic drive wraps up with some more of this and that, all while providing a chance to take SNAPSHOTS of the countryside charm.
