Summer Theatre in Port Dover
Thursday June 18, 2020
Located on a picturesque rural road, minutes from the lakeside community of Port Dover, Bonnieheath Estate Lavender & Winery balances an authentic agricultural experience with the class of an estate winery. We’ve picked the best time to visit as the lavender typically begins to bloom in mid-June. After our wine tasting we’re off to the ‘beach’ for lunch at the Erie Beach Hotel…known for their perch lunch.
Then sit back and be entertained at the Lighthouse Theatre with their presentation of Norm Fosters “HALFWAY THERE.” Pull up a stool at the best diner in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, exactly halfway between the equator and the North Pole. Recently dumped by his fiancée, Sean Merrit wanders into town looking for a change of pace from the big city, and soon strikes up a relationship with Janine the waitress. To win her heart, Sean will have to survive a grilling by Janine’s three wisecracking friends – and take a leap of faith that this town in the middle of nowhere is exactly where he’s meant to be.
