Day 1 Driving down to Lancaster PA will be quicker than you imagine. Arrive at the Country Inn of Lancaster, our home for the next 3 nights. A PA Dutch Buffet has been included on arrival. (D)
Day 2 This morning will be special with reserved seats for a brand-new production from Sight & Sound Theatre. From the fiery furnace to the infamous den of lions, DANIEL is a spectacular theatrical experience. Perhaps you’ll want to rest this afternoon, or get out and do some ‘tax-free shopping,’ the choice is yours. We’ve included dinner & show at the Bird-in-Hand Theatre. This evening we have reserved seats for ‘The CONFESSION’ – a musical and Amish Love Story. (B,D)
Day 3 Start the day off with a countryside guided tour of the rural area. Enjoy some time to browse and munch at Kitchen Kettle Village. A hearty home-cooked Amish dinner is prepared for you at the Lapp Farm. This evening, engage your senses through music, storytelling, and the amazing chalk artistry of a former Old Order Mennonite woman, Elva Hurst, who offer insights into Plain culture with a story that comes to life (and lights up) before your eyes with her Chalk Talk (B,D)
Day 4 We will return home with full tummies and many fond memories of our tour. (B)
