Join us for an energized day starting with the Bruce Power Plant Visitors Centre, where we’ll take in the interactive displays and informative exhibits in a picturesque setting over-looking Lake Huron. Next up, a guide will hop on board our bus and tour through the world’s largest operating nuclear facility. You'll gain insights into the fascinating processes that power homes and businesses while learning about energy production and safety measures. After the tour, enjoy a delicious onsite lunch made locally.
Energy comes from many sources and at the Bruce Botanical Food Gardens, will see it on a much smaller scale. Stroll through beautifully designed gardens that showcase sustainable practices and learn the importance of food gardens and the local ecosystem on this guided tour. After a day filled with exploration and inspiration, we’ll return to home having learned more about safe, reliable and carbon-free nuclear energy.
