History comes alive in Atlantic Canada, an enchanting cluster of provinces that are known for their rugged coastline and distinct maritime culture. New Brunswick is a land of small and friendly communities. Across the Bay of Fundy is Nova Scotia, a province filled with idyllic fishing villages. Venture to Prince Edward Island via the Confederation Bridge and tour the many attractions that pay homage to the much-beloved Anne of Green Gables novel.              


DAY 1    Sit back and enjoy the ride as our luxury coach travels east along Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River to Montreal. We arrive at our Montreal hotel early evening, so there will be time to visit Old Montreal.


DAY 2    Known for its “joie de vivre,” countless restaurants & gorgeous sights, Quebec City is the perfect combination of European ambiance and Québécois hospitality. We spend the night just outside the gates of the Old Walled City. (B)


DAY 3    We begin our trek south to New Brunswick and arrive in Miramichi for dinner and an evening of entertainment, Down East Style. (B,D)


DAY 4   Discover Atlantic Canada’s best-kept secret with our interactive lobster-themed cruise. An unforgettable culinary experience awaits you as you cruise the warm waters of Shediac Bay. Then merely a hop, skip and a jump across the Confederation Bridge and we find ourselves in Charlottetown, PEI, our home for the next 2 nights (B, L)


DAY 5   Tour Prince Edward Island and see why they fondly call it ‘Precious Every Inch’.  A highlight is sure to be the Anne of Green Gables home. Famous for its red sand, we’ll visit a beach, so you can dip your toes in the Atlantic Ocean.  (B, L)


DAY 6   Our travels take us to Nova Scotia's Cape Breton Island, known for its amazing natural beauty and captivating historical and cultural roots. We spend 2 nights in Sydney, NS (B)


DAY 7   Experience the Cabot Trail, a road that winds thru stunning landscapes, and beside the spectacular rugged highlands of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park of Canada. (B, L)


DAY 8   Early afternoon we find ourselves in Halifax with free time to walk about or take in the local attractions or even a cruise.  We spend the next 2 nights in Halifax.  (B)


DAY 9   A local guide joins us as we spend the day in Mother Nature's Playground, including a visit to Peggy’s Cove and the quaint fishing village of Lunenburg. Picturesque Lunenburg lies nestled along the scenic shores of southern Nova Scotia (B, L)


DAY 10   A free morning in Halifax will afford you the opportunity to return for one last chance to take in the Atlantic air. This afternoon we begin our journey back home and spend the night in Saint John NB. (B)

DAY 11   Today our travels find us leaving the Maritime Provinces behind and entering ‘La Belle Province de Quebec’ where we have dinner at a traditional sugar shack and spend the night in Trois Rivieres. (B, D)

DAY 12   Homeward bound with plenty of fond memories and picture-perfect postcards. (B)
